Excavated Viking longhouse AND Celtic round house side by side — unique cohabitation evidence. The wider Braaid valley contains at least 3 more unexcavated Norse farmsteads visible as cropmarks. The trackway connecting Braaid to the TT course road follows a Viking-era route. Fields along this track, especially at stream crossings, are high-probability detecting spots.
