Castle MED Priority Derby Fort - Castle on the Isle of Man
16th-century artillery fort on St Michael's Isle near Derbyhaven. Originally a Henrician Castle built c.1540, reconditioned during the English Civil War. Strategically important for harbour defence. The surrounding fields and beach are promising for Civil War-era and earlier finds.
