King Orry's Grave Complex

Neolithic Archaeological Site MED Priority King Orry's Grave Complex - Neolithic Archaeological Site on the Isle of Man
Two Neolithic chamber tombs (c.3500 BC) in Laxey. Despite the Viking name, these are 4,000 years older than any Norse activity. The gently sloping farmland between the two tombs and the Laxey River was prime settlement land in every period — from Neolithic farmers to Viking settlers. Well-drained, south-facing, near fresh water.
